Lounges and Kitchen and Bedrooms

These are the power hubs of our homes and where we can spend most of our time. The lounge and kitchen are the areas that get cleaned the most and often feel more energised. However the bedrooms are where we rest, think and heal if we are sick, so the bedroom is an area that can get the most stagnant. I have often found when I have done house clearings; bedrooms and offices are where the energies seem to get stuck.

Children's Rooms

Babies or children are often the most sensitive to negative energies. Often I have been phoned from parents asking me to clear their homes as the children have been feeling unsettled, getting sick or just not sleeping. The good news is, this is easily changed and is something you can learn to do.

Bedrooms - Negative sleep and mind chatter 

I find your bedroom is a great place to clean and clear as this is where you can do most of your worrying. Negative thought forms stay around for a long time and you are more sensitive to energies when you are asleep or relaxed. When you worry and your thoughts keep you awake, try these things to clear yourself of the worry and stress.

  1. Have a shower and mix some salt into your liquid soap and wash your body with this. Salt is a great body clearing remedy.
  2. Change your bed linen and burn some peppermint oil in your room.
  3. Place some fresh yellow flowers in the room to bring in a soft fresh energy ready for your next night’s sleep.
  4. Hand your worry over to the universe, guides or angels and ask for positive solutions and confirmation for the worry or concern.

To make our homes well we can do many things to clear the negative or stagnant energies and reenergise our homes to a balanced, settled space that you and your loved ones feel relaxed in again.

Try a house clearing spell to clear negativity. Often it is not until we clear the stale energies and we feel the difference we then realise how negative the space really was.

Making a bedroom more sensual

The first thing to do is making sure the space is free from clutter, and then creatively place softer furnishings around the room. Remove kids, kids’ toys, pictures of the kids and all pictures of other people. Pictures bring in the energies associated with those other people.

This space should only be shared by those intended. Try and have the mirror away from the foot of your bed as mirrors play havoc on energy levels. Remember this space is for you and your partner and needs to reflect both of you.

Regularly reset the mood of your room by changing the bed linen, keeping it fresh. Try new colours and themes to see what works for you both.  
Smell is an essential element to take the physical body from one place to another. Smells help you remove stress and relax. There are many ways to bring in sensual smells e.g. flowers, incense, essential oils and perfumes.

Televisions are sure way to ruin a mood and set an unsensual tone.
