Your home goes through as many changes as you do, it can hold onto old energies that become stagnant that make it hard to relax. This can cause you stress and sometimes even sickness. We clean our homes and decorate when a whim takes us but we don’t clear the stagnant energies enough.

When energies in a house get stale it can have various affects on you, your family or occupants that make it hard to live in. These energies can cause odd reactions or bring on insecure feelings. You may have unusual quarrels or have trouble relaxing or sleeping or just an overall unsettled feeling that something or someone is there. 

When a house feels unsettled

When your house feels unsettled or you have a run of bad luck the universe is trying to tell you something. By clearing a space and making some practical changes this can open you up to a fresh energy and breaks a negative one. Giving you a clearer vision of what you are missing and need to do.

When you personally go through a negative patch, it is great to do a clearing spell. The clearing spells breaks the negative energy allowing you to build and start again. I have done many clearings on buildings and made many clearing spells for people personally to allow freedom in a situation. Once the clearing is done they often feel relieved and feel they can now move to where they need to be.

The clearing generally takes about three days to complete; I have seen positive results over night and up to a year down the track as a result of a clearing spell.

Room clutter can bring on an overwhelming feeling of being out of control. It plays havoc on your mind. By getting the practical things in order first will clear some of the stagnant energy. To then gain the clarity you need to make better decisions and move forward. 

A house clearing story

I received a call one day from a distraught lady. She begged me to clear her home as she felt it was negative or haunted and her children could not sleep. They moved in six moths earlier and she and her husband were fighting about everything and they were exhausted.

I pulled up at the gate and just felt a shiver run down my spine. The house was prime real estate and very beautiful.

We sat for a while and talked. She explained to me how they got the house at a great price as the couple before them had split and they needed a quick sale.

I started the clearing and most of the rooms felt ok. There was a heavy presence in the children’s bedrooms but no spirits in the house. I went outside and was instantly met by a man in spirit. He told me to leave as I was not welcome here and I asked him why? He told me that he was protecting his mother and sister they were buried on the land. He was a young man who guarded the land as this was a looking point for his people. The house was only two years old so naturally he had been very disturbed by the process.

Everything made sense to me so I explained to him. The people who lived here also had a family and they wanted to love and protect them. They would look after the land and respect it.

I offered him a stone "pounamu" which is native to New Zealand. I then buried the stone in the earth and explained what I wanted. He thanked me and I told him he could leave and rest now that his family was waiting for him. He was a soul stuck through fear.

I phoned the family a week later. She felt the energy was clearer; the children were sleeping which meant they could relax and sleep as well.

I know not everyone can see spirits. However we can all feel the energies of our past and previous home owners. If you are moving into a new home, building or feeling unsettled a house clearing could make the difference.

Haunted homes

I have seen people move into new homes. Their luck seems to change for the worse. You can clear this energy. This does not mean the house is haunted, just negative.

I have seen homes burnt down after horrific events have happened. The home is considered haunted or evil. When people feel that a house or land is cursed. It can cause a very strong reaction. Often things happen there that cannot be explained by most.  Often you can do clearings to break and clear the old negative energies. When a home is haunted or cursed. I would recommend getting someone to do this for you.

A clear space physically, emotionally and spiritually is the starting point to personal empowerment.
