December 2009
In this issue
Hi all and welcome to the final update of woman2woman for 2009.
2009 has certainly been an interesting year for all, but especially those in business, as it has been a year of constant challenge and change. The 29 vibration has lived up to its promise of bringing the extreme highs and lows, as so many have experienced.
In our September issue we asked you to consider a 100 Day Challenge and many of you embraced this and set to about making a few changes. Thank you all for your responses and remember its never too late to start a goal-setting challenge.
My challenge is still going well - especially the physical part of my challenge. I started my regime, but most of all, a change of mindset and routine. I am pleased to say this has gone very well and I have dropped a dress size. My energy has also increased and I have been able to deal with my work stress easier. I plan to continue on and see what else I can achieve in 2010 and will keep you posted.
My physical challenge; Mint Fitness has been an easy gym to attend as they make you feel special. The size makes it intimate and feels exclusive and the most noticeable thing I don’t feel watched and I feel more comfortable. The staff are great and Mike McCauley – the trainer who I call the 'Evil One' - set a programme which I found easy to use and remember. Mint Fitness is offering special deals for woman2woman members so if you live in Christchurch, give them a try.
Woman2woman has had many new members this year and we look forward to continued growth over the next few years. Next year will bring fresh energy and I feel very excited to experience the 3 vibration and to start our second decade of the millennium.
I would like to wish for you all a wonderful Christmas, but more than anything, an insightful start to a New Year. Many of you have been through difficult times in 2009 but try and focus on the good things and end 2009 with excitement. So often we focus on what we did not get done or what we did not achieve. This is a negative note to finish one year on and start another. Focusing on the negative can make you feel flat but worst of all you bring all the baggage with you into a New Year. I start reflecting on the old year a few days before and work towards looking forward to a new one starting, rather than looking back with deep regret.
My article this month will be about how we will be starting the New Year on a Full Moon and how significant this is - keep an eye on your inboxes for that one. December energy updates and this month's article will be posted over the next few days so go online and check it out.
I would also like to thank all our contributors Di McCauley, Shirley Hay, Anna Smith, Julie Wells and Maureen Rose for their wonderful and insightful words of wisdom. Not forgetting our male contributor in all this, Paul, for all his help and work behind the scenes.
Merry Christmas and have a great month,
Rosina
PS. Remember if you've enjoyed the woman2woman updates this month, please do share your experiences with a friend and remind them to sign up to woman2woman so they have access to all the possible benefits we have planned in 2010. I look forward to exchanging experiences and wisdom with you all in 2010.
Personal
This month will be one of the fastest to pass you by in 2009. Before you know it you will be celebrating New Year and welcoming 2010. This month could bring out your nervous energy and a time when you need to realise what you feel may not be the actual reality. Be very careful not to make decisions on assumptions as you may feel let down. Try and be a clear as possible before you proceed as this will ensure nothing is forgotten or missed.
You will not be able to take things slow this month and will have to juggle everything from school productions, parties, organising food, presents, and money and still do your day job, run the family, make nana happy not to mention the relatives that want everything their way (take a breath). But you can’t make everyone happy so why not look inward and see what you and your closest actually need. Loose the hard stuff and put you’re self first and a t least finish off 2009 how you should have started.
2010 will teach us many new things but one thing that the 3 vibration asks
“Learn to say NO” and occasionally put your needs first. Have a great Christmas and New Year and get ready to release the old and embrace the new.
Enjoy December.
Business
Wow what a year and by all accounts most people I have spoken to are still coming to terms that 2009 is nearly done, and a new one is about to start. There is a lot is speculation about what is to come for business, nationally and internationally and there seems to be a lot of talk and fear around this.
This shake up that we have been through has had its up side, as every business that I know has reviewed their costs and reduced waste. I have been reading a book recently called “scroogeonomics; which has horrified my daughter as it explains the waste that our planet and economies use through the holiday period. I encourage you to really consider what you purchase for people and your family and consider what will be re-gifted or worse binned?
This year has also made business owners question ‘why am I doing this? There is no easy answer, however I encourage you to truly look at this and where you want to be in five years.
Someone special who I admire in business told me 18 years ago “business is never easy. Never get too comfortable or you will loose sight of the goal and loose”.
Will 2010 be better for business? Only you can make it so!
Enjoy the physical break but mostly take a break from the mind and have some fun. Remember it will be business as usual on your return.
Thank you for all your encouragement this year and I look forward to working with you all again in 2010!
Merry Christmas.
