Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all and thank you for your nice cards and wishes leading up to Christmas 2009 and please forgive me for not getting back to many of you or seeming disinterested. I must tell you the lead up to Christmas for me was very hectic and at times overwhelming, I do feel as though I missed the magic of Christmas and many people who wrote to me expressed the same feelings and sadness.

I went on a well needed holiday, which was amazing as we went to Sydney. The energy there has a very different feel than to little old Christchurch, as it is faster and more commercial. The New Years Eve fireworks display from the harbour bridge were spectacular and it was the best New Year I have had for many years.

I have been very excited about starting 2010 and the New Year did have something for me that I missed for Christmas. I arrived back yesterday and took the time to read my Christmas cards and the lovely messages, sentiments and well wishes I received for 2010 and had a really good look at my presents, which were lovely.

My plan, over the next few weeks is to explain to you all what you can expect for the coming year, I have starting connecting to spirit and the energy that has been around us for the last week or so.

The Recent Energy

From here it is time to make the most of the holidays and give you body and brains a much needed rest. I came back and wanted to clean and get rid of stuff that is no longer of use. You can also relate this to emotions as some of those old habits and feelings that you have perfected over your life are actually limiting you and holding you back from your true potential, take control of your feelings and own them.

Now is the time to listen to your instincts and most of all trust yourself that you will make good decisions. Start feeling what it is your really want to achieve this year for you personally and work on the other stuff later. Try not to dwell on the last year as the more you do the more limited your future will be. I m not suggesting that you don't acknowledge the good times and the bad but learn from them and make decisions not to repeat them as dwelling on these and reliving them will keep you right where you are.

Do you really want pieces of your life to change or stay exactly where you are? Before anything can change you need to know you're willing to move and let go of the comfortable. If you repeat the same things over and over you can only expect the same results. Remember you are an extraordinary person, dig down and embrace your true potential as a New Year always offers something fresh and the results will speak for themselves.

Here is the first part of the numerology aspect of 2010, I will be continuing to break this down to smaller details over the next few weeks. Enjoy part 1, and I will be in touch soon.

What 2010 promises to be:

One of the most important aspects of this New Year is that it offers promise. Simply by having a destination (plan) means the 21/3 energy will assist you on your quest to reach your goal. It asks that you tread carefully in devising your plan, not to rush but to make a considered one. Reach down and embrace your true essence of what it is you want and have never been able to achieve, find the desire that is needed to propel you forward and look forward to all the rewards.

This year promises to be everything 2009 was not - it will have less extreme energies to fight against.

To achieve and make a difference, first you must clear away physical clutter. Stop worrying and work on releasing negative thoughts and patterns that have always hindered or limited you. You won't be able to achieve this with one decision but working slowly on attitude change will about bring results.

Make a plan that allows flexibility and most of all look for situations that keep you from getting too comfortable as this will bring the most satisfaction.

2010 will be less extreme and you will find people less abrasive. Socialising will be easy and you will feel less like hiding than you did in 2009. It is easy to get a social hangover in a 21 vibration and your finances can suffer due to high outgoings, so enjoy, but don't push all the financial boundaries.

There will still be testing times but by having a can do attitude you will allow you to navigate through these times.

There are a few things you need to understand and embrace about this magical vibration. One of the most important factors is you must communicate with the right people. Those that choose not to do this will find themselves stuck and may end up repeating the restrictive aspect of 2009.

Relationships and Social Life:

New Relationships - This vibration always promises to connect and learn from the opposite sex. Which means the likely hood of attracting someone new into your life is increased. But like I always say "you won't meet them on the couch".

This year also promises social connection. When relationships are nurtured and understood then all can feel good with the world.

Close relationships can suffer as these are the relationships that get taken for granted and it is important to give love but avoid jealousy or possessiveness.

If you fail to express yourself within your relationship or have commonality, then these close relationships will suffer. Ignorance will mean this energy will seep into others areas of your life causing you to feel restricted and the possibility of becoming negative.

The dark side to this number:
It can be easy to hide and go inward and not communicate, this will put extreme pressure on those closest to you, which you may not even notice.

There can be a danger in becoming extremely negative, which can lead to self destruction and sometimes depression. These traits can be lessened by knowing where you are going, then communicating and asking for help along the way.

Lessons and connection to the opposite sex have more magnetism with this vibration so this year is great networking year.
More social interaction which increases opportunity of attraction with the opposite sex. Communicate and enjoy more passion.

Career and Business:

Personal fulfillment is the phrase that sums up this energy vibration and what will drive the year ahead, as without fulfillment it will be a very long year. As the year begins it is essential to review your work situation and consider what has not worked and then gather some courage to make the necessary change. You need to be heard by colleagues otherwise the frustration element will increase.

Managers and Business owners - failure to communicate to staff and work colleagues may lead to breakdowns or losses. Lead people but watch that you don't become unreasonable as this will result in energy blocks and may cause relationships to break down. You need to be conscientious about your duties at work but don't fall under obligation to anyone and don't make promises that you can't keep.

There will be many companies that are still financially tight and will have to cope with losses from 2008 and 2009 and banks will be difficult to deal with. Gaining new finance will be hard without the balance sheet to back further borrowing and banks to feel secure. Keep things lean and to a minimum but in order to survive the negative head space you need to see this as a limited time frame. Repeating another year like we have just finished, for many in business, this is too hard to comprehend. So, make life easier and keep a watchful eye on P&L and know where you are at each month - only then will you be able to make informed decisions. To find out more you will need to look at your business specifically.

Opportunities will arise; make sure you research and plan them before jumping in. My feeling is it will take another year to see a new balance come to business and we will continue to see changes and reactions over the coming year. The best aspect of this vibration is those that communicate and keep informed will not go backwards.

Property:

The market has seen some growth and still arouses discussion and speculation of what is to come. There will always be people that have their finger on the pulse and will always make money. For the rest of us caution is still advised and sellers will find that buyers still feel entitled to a bargain and continue to offer reduced prices. The best way to approach property for the next few months will be to take things slowly. We will see some negative dips in March, July and October.
